So, at first Walter creeped me out. A lot. He was all with the beard and the crazy and it wasn't a good time for anyone. But as we got to know him better, I began to find him charming and hilarious and heartwarming. Here are my favorite things about Walter from seasons 1 and (most of) 2.

5. The fact that he fathered Peter. Every so often, we'll be in the middle of a supernatural crisis and I'll stop for a second and be like "Yum." (Yeah, I think Joshua Jackson is pretty. What of it?)

(Come on, how can you not think I'm adorable?)

4. Hilarious back-in time hair. It's basically his current hair, colored brown and with sideburns, but it looks twenty times funnier.

3. The fact that he keeps a cow in the laboratory. Which he randomly milks and then transports said milk on airplanes.

2. Dude is insane about food. He'll be examining some horrifically murdered person and then he'll look up and be like "Would you mind if we stopped for a milkshake?" (I'm exactly the same way. I'll be sitting around and then sit up and need soup or a tuna sandwich.)

"Yes, where can I get some of that? It looks delicious."

1.This scene is the reason that I began this thing. Seriously, it made me cry and just want to snuggle poor, lost, sad Walter.

Walter: Can't remember Peter's number. It's got three 5s, a 1, a 0, two 7s. But for the life of me, I can't remember the correct sequence.

And this all isn't even mentioning the music he plays in the lab, his hilariously unprosecuted drug use, his love for Monopoly or that he calls William Bell/Leonard Nimoy/Spock "Belly" and that they pulled the famous prank with the car and the Harvard statue.

Walter, I <3 you!!!

I'm off to finish off season 2, but I might do a similar post for Olivia tomorrow.
